Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the following submission guidelines.

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements for submitting to The International Science of Health Journal are as follows:

  • Written in English.
  • The length of the article submitted must be at least 10 pages and no more than 15 pages. The editor will assess if an article requires more than 15 pages.
  • Use reference management tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for referencing and formatting, and select APA style.
  • Ensure that your article is prepared using the TEMPLATE provided.

B. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared and are recommended to follow the structure below:

  • Title: The title should consist of 15 to 20 words and must describe the research purpose, methods/models, and objectives, without using acronyms or abbreviations.
  • Abstract: The abstract should consist of 200 to 300 words; no citations. The abstract should mention the main objectives, research design, methodology, main results, and conclusions.
  • Section Structure: Authors are advised to organize their articles into the following sections: Introduction - Literature Review - Methodology - Results and Discussion - Conclusion.
  • References: A minimum of 15 references is required, with at least 80% of references coming from journals published in the last 5 years.
