Faktor Penyebab Kualitas Hidup Pasien Gagal Ginjal yang Menjalani Hemodialisis: Studi Cross-Sectional

Kidney failure in patients undergoing hemodialysis (HD) therapy remains a global public health problem because it contributes to increased morbidity and mortality. This study aims to examine the factors that influence the quality of life of kidney failure patients undergoing HD at the Permata Saribudolok Clinic. The study design used a Cross-Sectional study and was conducted in March 2026. The population in this study included all kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis. The sample size was 67 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to respondents, then analyzed using the Chi-Square test and logistic regression. The results showed that income had a significant relationship with the quality of life of kidney failure patients undergoing HD (p = 0.021; OR = 3.63; 95% CI: 1.324–9.991). In addition, the duration of hemodialysis was also significantly associated (p = 0.024; OR = 3.60; 95% CI: 1.298–9.985), as was family support (p = 0.032; OR = 0.269; 95% CI: 0.084–0.862). Based on the analysis results, the duration of HD was the most dominant risk factor affecting the quality of life of kidney failure patients undergoing hemodialysis (p = 0.007; OR = 5.38; 95% CI: 1.601–18.090).
