Studi Eksperimental Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Kunyit terhadap Jenis Keputihan pada Remaja Putri di SMA Islam Al Hikmah Mayong Jepara

Abstract

Flour Albus is still an under-researched case of women's health despite its universal prevalence. This study aims to determine the effect of administering turmeric extract on the type of vaginal discharge in female adolescents at Al-Hikmah Islamic High School, Mayong, Jepara, West Java. The subjects in this study were all adolescent with patology flour albus found in a Al-Hikmah Islamic High School in Mayong, Jepara, West Java, Indonesia, in 2025. The data used in this study are prime data obtained from the students. This type of research is quasi-experimental, with a non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design, as sampling was not random. Both groups received pre- and post-tests. Data processed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Based on the bivariate analysis Descriptive data are presented as numbers and percentages for categorical data.Based on bivariate analysis, the results showed that in the intervention group, all respondents experienced a decrease in pathological vaginal discharge to physiological vaginal discharge with a mean rank of 12.50. Meanwhile, in the control group, the majority of respondents experienced pathological vaginal discharge, as many as 17 respondents with a mean rank of 10.05, and 7 respondents experienced a change in the type of fluor albus. There was an effect of reducing the type of fluor albus with turmeric extract on female students at Al Hikmah Islamic High School, Mayong, Jepara, with a mean rank of 12.05. Management in cases of Patology Flour Albus It is hoped that giving extra turmeric to students can be an additional therapy to overcome pathological fluor albus and can be balanced with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
